The MH2010 Symposium Proceedings will be published in a

Special Supplement issue of the Journal of Alloys and Compounds.

 Deadline for submission - August 15th, 2010. 

The submission website is http://ees.elsevier.com/jalcom/. You will need to register and to obtain a username and a password.

Due to the space limitations, invited and contributed papers are limited to 6 and 4 journal pages, respectively. The limitations  are as follows: 

Contributed papers. 

Abstract:  150 words

Text:  2000 words

Figures: 4 

Tables: 2. 

Invited contributions: 

Abstract: 200 words

Text: 3000 words

Figures: 6

Tables: 3. 

In both cases increase in the number of Figures compared to the stated limits should be accompanied by a corresponding reduction in the volume of the text.

Formats allowed:

EPS: Vector drawings. Embed the font or save the text as "graphics".
TIFF: color or grayscale photographs (halftones): always use a minimum of 300 dpi.
TIFF: Bitmapped line drawings: use a minimum of 1000 dpi.
TIFF: Combinations bitmapped line/half-tone (color or grayscale): a minimum of 500 dpi is required.
DOC, XLS or PPT: If your electronic artwork is created in any of these Microsoft Office applications please supply "as is". Do NOT put the graphs in the text, only indicate their place. Immediately after the abstract, provide a maximum of 6 keywords. 

Reference style: 

Text: Indicate references by number(s) in square brackets in line with the text. The actual authors can be referred to, but the reference number(s) must always be given. Example: "..... as demonstrated [3,6]. Barnaby and Jones [8] obtained a different result ...." 
 

List: Number the references (numbers in square brackets) in the list in the order in which they appear in the text.
